I've seen a virused plant for sale here, what is the variety of the white multipetals with orange margins? They don't seem to be wary of the virus in plants they are selling, i am sad for the industry and those uninformed.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06044386271018560595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076910230051897430.post-33861993189814235922013-02-15T19:27:41.840-08:002013-02-15T19:27:41.840-08:00Thanks Clayton. I am not sure if the hybrids will vernalize in the cordilleras clime although Lilium philippinense grows in that area. What is special about these lilies is that they are tetraploid, they have 4 sets of chromosomes instead of 2. Their substance, vigor and performance in the garden is impressive.

Yes they are related to Orientals except these lilies are Asiatic. They are of different divisions but of the same genus, the genus Lilium.

Here is a link that might be useful:
http://z5suburbangardener.blogspot.com/b/post-preview?token=gNlj1TwBAAA.GbG-THTycx_qzOZx1ysR4A.9tRNIqPFo3fgB88yCD7ldQ&postId=5320484320833197743&type=POST

Lilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12575780176493299260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076910230051897430.post-55372218494048054072013-02-12T19:19:33.954-08:002013-02-12T19:19:33.954-08:00They are just beautiful, but definitely they don&#...They are just beautiful, but definitely they don't grow in our climate unless they will be planted in the colder highlands of the Cordilleras.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06044386271018560595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076910230051897430.post-65041094590637845432013-02-12T09:59:44.737-08:002013-02-12T09:59:44.737-08:00Thanks for sharing this!
