Update on Saltarello

A couple of months back, I scaled a Saltarello bulb. Here they are now, with plenty of bulblets growing in them.


Saltarello is blooming. Planted late in the season.

June Hosta Tour

Going through the photographs I took this season, I found these photos from a garden tour I went to last June in Deer Park IL. I had the opportunity to see the gardens of Tom Micheletti of Hosta Patch and the current President of the American Hosta Society.





Mr. Michelleti has a great collection of martagon and species lilies and fine specimen of hostas.
