With the soaring heat we are experiencing here, I cut the remaining iris blooms from the garden and put them in vases. I love the orangy scent that wafts throughout our dining room.
I added a lot of iris in the gardens last fall. They are perfect bloom fillers after the spring blooming bulbs and before the lilies bloom. Such presence they make in the garden when they flower. You won't regret adding them to your gardens. I love them.
