Hippeastrum striatum

Small-flowered species. Lovely color, form and shape. First time to bloom for me. I got it as a tiny seedling almost three years ago.

Kind of like a dainty amaryllis.

They're so pretty, Lily! Are you as tired of winter as I am? I heard that Chicago hasn't had much snow. We've had quite a bit, but I hope it continues with plenty of rain in the spring and summer. Take care!

That H striatum looks like my H puniceum, just rounder and fuller petals, almost same color!

Very pretty, I have Picotee still blooming, going on four stalks per bulb!

They are all beautiful, but the species have a charm all their own. Great photos.
